Last Burn at The Buff Club on November 28th

After 21 years of ruining your Tuesday mornings. We have decided to call it a day.

When we started this there was no late night bars, no internet, no reality TV, nothing to do on a Monday night for the trade staff that had been working all weekend.

We brought a bit of the weekend clubbing to a Monday night. This ‘Trade night’ idea has been copied by many a club trying to cash in.

We invented Mondays.

In 21 years we have been at three venues every Monday, Volcano/Jet, The Apartment (then called Mas) and the Buff Club has been our home for over the last decade.

In that time the following people have come and DJ’d with us Joey Negro, Mylo, Groove Armada, Todd Terje, Kraak and Smaak, The Avalanches, Jacques Lu Cont, Howard Marks, Purple Disco Machine, Sinden, Harri, Jasper James, Mia Dora, Melting Pot, Joshua Barr, and many more.

This was started over 21 years ago by Normski and has seen him enlist the talents of Zeus, Richard, Cris Biguzzi, Owen, and Mash has been a resident for over a decade after being a regular guest over the years.

These people have partied with us on a Monday at Burn – Blondie, Dizzee Rascal, Mike Skinner, Calvin Harris, Kings Of Leon, Iron Maiden, George Benson, Public Enemy, Chic, Robyn, even the Spice Girls and most importantly yourself, and for that we would like to thank you for your support!

Burn has sound tracked many a works night out, sacking, missed Tuesday, friendship, inter work heavy petting, after party, sore head and many a good night out.

It has been a blast and we are delighted that an excuse to go out and play tunes and get melted on a Monday has lasted so long!

We would like you to come down and party at Burn for the last time on Monday 28^th November.
